How To Set Up Gmail Account?
Setting up a Gmail account is easy. You will begin by creating a Google account, and during the quick sign-up process you will choose your Gmail account name. In this lesson, we’ll show you how to set up your Google account for Gmail, add and edit contacts, and edit your mail settings. When you first sign in to your new Gmail or Google Account you will be greeted with a welcome page that includes an option to add other services such as Android phones or Calendars.
Adding Contacts to Gmail Account
Gmail is integrated with Google Contacts, which means that you can access your contacts from both Gmail and other Google services. Adding a contact to your Gmail account makes it easy for you to find that person’s email address later when you’re sending an email. This feature is handy if you receive messages from people that are not in your Gmail contacts list, such as business contacts or old friends with new email addresses. Let’s add someone new!
To add a contact, you will start by searching for that person’s email address in your Gmail messages or Contacts list. After finding an email from them, click on their name (or email link if you have multiple emails from them). This will open their Contact card. You can then add it as a new Gmail contact or save it as a separate contact. That’s it!

Google+ Hangouts allows you and your friends to chat, make video calls, share photos, and even play games online. If someone in a hangout wants to email everyone else at once, they can simply type a message in hangout chat. The new message will appear as an email in everyone’s inbox. All members of a Google+ hangout need to be using Gmail or Google Apps for Business.
When you click on a Hangout link, you’ll be asked if you want to join a hangout. If you decide not to participate, you can watch a video feed of your friends’ activities. This is useful for catching up on conversations with people in your social network that are taking place in Google+ hangouts.
