The University of British Columbia offers a $200,000 scholarship. The award is renewable for up to four years, as long as the recipient continues their studies and maintains good grades. Applicants must be Canadian citizens who are studying full-time at the university. They must also demonstrate leadership qualities and academic excellence. Saint Mary’s University: $50,000: Saint Mary’s offers students a chance to win $50,000 towards tuition fees. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay on How do you think public policy will change as our world becomes more connected?

2) Dalhousie University: $150,000

The Dalhousie International Business School offers scholarships of up to $150,000 USD. The scholarship is open to students from any region of the world who are qualified applicants for an MBA or Executive MBA degree at the Dalhousie International Business School.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need with less than 15% funding from other sources. If you are not a Canadian citizen but want to apply, you will also have to provide proof that you have applied for permanent residency in Canada. However, recipients can apply for fee reliefs through their provincial student aid program.

3) Ryerson University: $50,000

The scholarship is awarded based on the applicant’s financial need. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at Ryerson University or York University.

Applicants must also have demonstrated leadership and service at school or community levels with a minimum of two years’ experience. They should submit a personal statement describing their extracurricular involvement and contributions to their communities, including volunteerism hours and activities.  The winner will be announced in December and receive their award by April.

4) McMaster University: $35,000

5) Royal Roads University: $30,000

To be eligible, you must be enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce program at Royal Roads University and have a 3.0 GPA or better. This scholarship is renewable annually and has no set limit as to how many years it can be awarded. The deadline is November 1st each year. All applications are due by this date. If your application is complete and submitted by the deadline, then your file will be assessed.

If you qualify for this award, then you will receive an award notification letter on December 15th outlining your eligibility requirements. You will need to supply the necessary documentation requested on this letter.  Majken Sparer-Knudsen Scholarship: $5,000: Majken Sparer-Knudsen was a Danish author and humanitarian. For her humanitarian efforts, she received awards from both Denmark and Norway. She also became a Knight of the Order of Dannebrog in 1961 which is equivalent to being made into a Member of the Order of Canada today.

6) Sheridan College (Ontario): $24,500

Sheridan College offers a $24,500 scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an undergraduate program and demonstrate financial need. The award will be renewable for four years of study, subject to the availability of funds. To be eligible for this scholarship, you should have high academic achievement with grades of at least 75% in your most recent course work. The application deadline is November 1st.

7) York University (Toronto): $24,000

The York University Foundation offers a scholarship worth $24,000. Applicants must be Canadian and have a high school GPA of at least 83% with a final mark of at least 80%. Applicants must also be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate program at the university. There is one award per year, and it’s awarded to the highest ranking student in their graduating class (according to their York University cumulative grade point average). Deadline: December 31st each year.

The University of Toronto International Scholarship is open to all students who are citizens or permanent residents of a country other than Canada and an undergraduate degree from a Canadian post-secondary institution. The scholarship provides up to $20,000 per year for four years of study at the University of Toronto. It offers an opportunity for outstanding international students who have earned a Canadian undergraduate degree to pursue graduate studies at the University of Toronto without any upfront tuition fees.

9)J.P Morgan Asset Management Canada Masters Award

The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Canada Masters Award is a scholarship that recognizes and supports future generations of Canadian leaders. The award is open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled full-time at an accredited university, college, or trade school with a program that leads to a degree in finance, economics, or business administration and demonstrates academic excellence. 

This scholarship includes: the $1,000 cash prize; recognition on the J.P. Morgan website; a personal letter from Jeff Smith, Head of Investment Banking in Canada; two tickets to attend the JP Morgan Energy Symposium; and a chance to compete for one of four awards valued at up to $5,000.

10) University Of Waterloo Scholarships 2023

This is one of the most prestigious scholarships available at the University of Waterloo. Applicants must have a strong academic record, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need. In addition, they are required to carry a three-course load each term. The successful applicant will receive $2,000 per year for four consecutive years (a total of $8,000). The scholarship was created by Thomas H. Telford Jr., who graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours B.A.Sc. in mechanical engineering. Mr. Telford has been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of his company, TFPL Inc., since he founded it in 1982.
